Can I be my own registered agent?
Only if you have a physical address in the state and are available during business hours. For non-residents, a service agent is the practical option.
Is my name on public record?
In Wyoming and New Mexico the agent's name appears, not yours. Delaware lists the agent and the authorized person.
What happens if I do not renew?
The state will mark your LLC as lacking an agent, which leads to administrative dissolution. We remind you 60 and 30 days before renewal.
